Originally posted on A Page of Heaven. Rating: 1/2 Based on reading experience alone, I would probably give Unspoken a lower rating but the theory of it just fascinated me too much.

I should have written this up immediately after finishing, rather than letting the friend reviews pile up and then being the cranky outrider, but all I wanted to say then was that I found the book utterly lacking in soul. Which isn't proper language for discussing books, I admit!
