Julie Czerneda is a challenge to read, but worth it. The plots are complex, and the characters are either numerous with complex interrelationships, or so totally alien that they challenge our perceptions of humanoid as the only model for intelligent life.

I don't usually write rewiews but I love Julie Czernada's books! Perfect combination of Sci-Fi and interesting realism.

I am usually ambivalent about a prequil. This is because I sometimes feel it can interfere with the characters and story of something I have already read.
